AI Processing Disclosure

Waypoint uses automation and AI to help organize work, summarize requests, draft options, and prepare internal next steps. This page explains the boundaries in plain language.

  • Summarize an intake or project update.
  • Classify a request against Waypoint's service catalog.
  • Draft internal reports, workflow ideas, and suggested replies.
  • Prepare internal tasks and recommendations for owner review.

AI output is advisory and can be wrong. Waypoint keeps owner approval required for external messages, publishing, payments, deletions, credentials, integration changes, and client commitments. The public assistant cannot take action for a visitor.

The public website assistant uses an approved FAQ in the browser by default. If a configured public chat endpoint is enabled, the question is sent to that endpoint for an AI response. The private control center and client portal use the configured local-first assistant; an external AI fallback may be enabled by the owner for specific deployments. The active provider is controlled by deployment configuration, so do not submit information that must remain confidential.

Do not enter passwords, API keys, OAuth tokens, payment-card or bank information, government identifiers, health information, or another person's confidential data into public chat. Use the secure intake or authenticated client portal for information Waypoint has specifically requested.

For questions about data used in an engagement or to request access, correction, or deletion, email hello@waypointautomationconsulting.com. The applicable project agreement and Privacy Policy control retention and deletion details.
